Meet the Team

The Kids' Cookery School is a Registered Charity, which is governed by a board of trustees.

KCS employs 2 full-time members of staff who all work at KCS Acton;

Fiona Hamilton-Fairley - CEO and Principal

Chloe Barrow - Office Manager and PA to CEO 

John Fernandez - Freelance Head Chef


All staff hold enhanced DBS checks, basic food hygeine certificates and first aid certificates. We are registered with Ofsted, regularly inspected and meet the requirements of the Ofsted register. Certificates and reports are available on request and are displayed on the parents noticeboard at KCS!

Fiona Hamilton-Fairley

CEO & Principal

Fiona is a passionate food campaigner and cookery teacher, believing that the only way to get people to eat healthier food is to give them the skills and information they need to make good choices for themselves.

Fiona manages the team at KCS on a daily basis and coordinates outreach workshops in schools and community centres. She particularly enjoys training staff in schools and community centres to deliver cookery clubs.

Fiona is a published cookery writer and contributes regularly to printed publications. She has spoken about children's food and cookery on television and radio broadcasts and at numerous conferences. Please contact at with all enquiries.
